  • Q: How is an HOA governed?

    A: PPI is governed by a seven-member Homeowner Board of Directors, whose main goal is to preserve and enhance the community’s property values.

  • Q: What are the advantages of a homeowner’s association?

    A: The HOA provides regulations and guidelines for its members. These standards are upheld for the purpose of preserving and enhancing the community’s property values.

  • Q: What does the HOA cover?

    A: The HOA basically takes care of some of the nitty-gritty of home ownership. The HOA is responsible for such tasks as ensuring the buildings are maintained, deciding on appearance-oriented projects for the common areas of the community, and drafting/enforcing the association’s governing documents and rules and regulations.

  • Q: What is the primary purpose of a HOA?

    A: An HOA exists to provide services for the residents of a community and ensure it maintains the vision of a well-kept, organized community that all members enjoy living in.

Community

  • Q: Can I use guest parking spots?

    A: Guest parking spots are intended for our families and guests who may wish to visit. In the event that you, your friends, and/or your families need to park in these spots, an overnight parking form is available on our website. This must be submitted to our management company.

  • Q: The screen on my window is damaged. How can I get it fixed?

    A: Please contact Steve at Foster Premier, and he will advise on the procedure to get the screen fixed.

  • Q: What is the maximum patio size I can have?

    A: 169 square feet is the maximum allowed. Patios are to be separated from other patios and should not be connected.

HOA Meetings

  • Q: How do we attend HOA meetings?

    A: The meeting date and times are posted on our website and updated on a regular basis. We meet at the Itasca Library, and homeowners are welcome to attend. Zoom options are available but not always guaranteed. We encourage in-person attendance.

  • Q: How can I get involved?

    A: Come to an HOA meeting and let us know you want to get involved. From time to time, we have tasks that might be suited for additional volunteers.

  • Q: Do we have a professional management company?

    A: We currently have a contract with Foster Premier in Buffalo Grove. Our active property manager is Steve Tillinghast.
